Assets Excel Sync for Jira Service Management (the "app") exports and imports your Jira Service Management Assets objects to and from Excel workbooks. This policy explains what the app accesses and how that data is handled. The short version: all processing happens inside your browser in Atlassian's Forge Custom UI context. Assets data is never sent to Cody Labs servers. The app acts as you and respects your Jira permissions.
All processing happens inside your browser in the Atlassian Forge Custom UI context. Assets data is fetched from Atlassian's infrastructure and processed in your browser as your user. Workbooks are generated and parsed entirely in memory. No data is sent to Cody Labs or any external service. Cody Labs operates no data-processing server.
The app runs as you within Forge and uses your signed-in Jira user's request context and permissions. You cannot export Assets objects you lack access to, and you cannot import changes to objects you lack update permissions for. Forge supplies the request context; the app has no separate login or credential collection.
Because all processing happens in your browser and we store nothing on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Workbooks live in your browser's memory or on your local disk (if you download the file). Assets data lives in your Jira instance, under Atlassian's control and your organization's access policies.
This app requires Jira Service Management at the Premium or Enterprise tier because Assets (formerly Insight) is only available at those tiers. We have no control over Atlassian's tier requirements.
