By installing or using Excel Import & Export for Jira (the “app”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app exports Jira issues matching a JQL query or saved filter to an Excel (.xlsx) workbook, and imports spreadsheets back into Jira — matching rows on issue key to bulk update existing issues and create new ones. It runs on the Atlassian Forge platform, entirely within Atlassian’s cloud, acting as the signed-in user with that user’s permissions.
The app is sold through the Atlassian Marketplace as Paid via Atlassian, priced per user per month with a free trial. Billing, invoicing, refunds, and cancellation are handled by Atlassian under Atlassian Marketplace terms.
The app acts with your Jira account’s permissions and can never exceed them. Bulk imports modify real issue data: the app always shows a dry-run preview of every change before anything is written, and you are responsible for reviewing that preview and for the changes you choose to commit. You must have the right to access and modify the issues you export and import.
Do not use the app to violate any law, infringe others’ rights, exceed Atlassian’s API terms, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service beyond what applicable law permits.
The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that exports and imports will be complete or accurate in every case. It depends on the Atlassian platform and APIs, which we do not control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cody Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for data loss, arising from use of the app — including changes committed to issues after the dry-run preview. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
