monday Scheduled Excel Export, published by Cody Labs. Effective 21 July 2026.
monday Scheduled Excel Export (the "app") exports your monday board data into an Excel workbook. This policy explains what the app accesses and how that data is handled. The short version: your board data is processed inside monday.com's own server-side infrastructure (monday code) and is never sent to Cody Labs servers. The only step that reaches an external service is email delivery (if you choose it); the in-monday attachment option stays entirely within monday.com.
Board data is fetched and processed inside monday's own server-side app runtime (monday code). The workbook is generated in memory on monday's servers. If you choose email delivery, the file is sent to SendGrid for mailing; the update-attachment option avoids this entirely by attaching the file directly to a monday item update. Cody Labs operates no data-processing server — the app has no ability to see or access your board data.
If you choose email delivery, the workbook is sent via SendGrid. Your SendGrid API key is stored as a monday code credential and is never exposed to Cody Labs. See SendGrid's privacy policy.
The app operates as your user in monday's own context, with the scopes you grant: boards:read (to fetch board data) and updates:write (to attach files to updates for the attachment-delivery option). The app cannot see your account outside these scopes and cannot access other users' data.
Workbooks are generated on demand and are not stored by Cody Labs. If you choose email delivery, SendGrid retains the message log per its own policy. The update-attachment option stores no external records — the file is attached to your monday item and under your control.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
